6 Roma Tomatoes-we usually try to give San Marzano but may be regular Roma's

1 medium Bell Pepper-choose green or red

1 Sweet Onion

1 small bunch cilantro

1 garlic

Hot Pepper-choose between Jalapeños(will be 1 large or 2 small)or 1 Hungarian(less hot than Jalapeños).  Hot Peppers are hotter if eaten fresh-if canning then they lose heat.  Take out seeds & ribs for less heat, add for more heat.

 

I use the recipe The Best Fresh Tomato Salsa on allrecipes but have added garlic to it and modified to my taste(I add more cilantro and lime juice & don't always use cumin).
